1. 1.        How does your product use or challenge conventions (genre) and how does it represent social groups and issues? Presentation in Prezi: Prezi Slideshow with Voice Over 2.  How does your project engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text? My Portfolio  magazine is something that engages with the audience because of how simple and straight to the point it is. My magazine used to be very extra and full of things that were useless to the product as a whole, and now it is very simple and gets to the point, yet, it isn't so much that it is hard to look at and comprehend.  I think that this will be effective for my target audience because it is everything that I would want in a fitness magazine and it shows that strictly on the cover of the magazine.  I think that i need to fix my layout for this portfolio project and i need to change the coloring and the layout of the text and pictures. To do this, i took my background and made it all white and then i decided to take that black border off of all the text and just underline it to make it look more professional and simple on the eyes.  I also reformatted the headings to make it look less extreme. I feel like this made the project look easier on the eyes and a better read for the audience. 

 My portfoilio project needed some changes to make it the best it could be and this week i am going to work on staging the new photos for my portfoilio project and I would like to make most of the pictures gym related and they should be at the gym and people doing exercises and that would look really good in my magazine. I need to stage some photos on a bicycle that would help my feature article and I also need to stage some photos for my content page that better matches the color and the feel of the magazine that would bring it together and not make it feel overwhelming.

         My portfolio project is something that has a lot of potential and it just needs some aesthetic work. My project was needing of work because I do not really know how to make a magazine because I have never done it before. There was a lot of things that needed to be changed like the cover imagine because it was a home gym image and mine is about going to the gym so I need to change that and make it better. My font on my portfolio project was just a little bit too bold and that makes it very masculine and that is not what I'm going for so I need to change it to something that is more overall and can apply to everyone. I also need to change some of the colors of the background and the layout because the colors that I chose were dark blue and grey so that really creates a masculine fell for the whole magazine and that is not what I want.
