Production 1- Making the Layout and Adding Text

 My portfolio project is starting to be made and the layout is something that is being finalized and making it the way that i want to be. I am shooting for a minimalistic look on my magazine therefor when there is less there is actually more. In a way, i want the portfolio project to look very simple and easy on the eyes but i also want it to be informational and helpful for the audience reading. I am also adding text to article and finishing the first page of the article and making it look good for the magazine and fitting the audience. I used indesign as the application to make it and this program allowed for me to do many things that i never thought were possible in a software.

Peer Review

         My portfolio project is something that has a lot of potential and it just needs some aesthetic work. My project was needing of work because I do not really know how to make a magazine because I have never done it before. There was a lot of things that needed to be changed like the cover imagine because it was a home gym image and mine is about going to the gym so I need to change that and make it better. My font on my portfolio project was just a little bit too bold and that makes it very masculine and that is not what I'm going for so I need to change it to something that is more overall and can apply to everyone. I also need to change some of the colors of the background and the layout because the colors that I chose were dark blue and grey so that really creates a masculine fell for the whole magazine and that is not what I want. Production 3- Working on the Feature Article

 For this feature article, I focused on the triathlon as a idea because i thought that it would do well with the whole idea of the fitness magazine and i also thought that it would let the audience learn some stuff about a triathlon. This idea was originated by my guitar teacher and how he is a triathlon athlete and he is in his 60's. He inspired this idea because he is a very positive person and he is very inspiring when it comes to sports so i thought that i would put the idea of him in the magazine.
