Storyboard

 

  While I was creating my storyboard I had to change a lot of things. During the storyboard I changed a lot of things. It was challenging because I didn't know what my feature article was going to be about but then I figured out it was going to be a triathlon. I am going to write about the training and stuff about it. I enjoyed putting it together because it felt accomplishing to me because I finally got it done. I learned a lot about how the magazine should work and how it should look. It helped me with my concept because the ideas were flowing and it was easy to make at that point. In the article "Filmmaking across the curriculum: a beginner's guide" it said that " The drawings have no detail and are changed continually until the planned sequence is right." This applied to me because this is what I did until i found something that i thought looked good. I kept throwing the layout around until I found one that i liked. In another article it said that "Some people prefer to begin work on this board early in the creative-thinking session (see below for more on the two types of storyboarding sessions). Other groups prefer to wait until they've established tasks. As with the organization board, you can simply write the information on your first two storyboards, rather than creating a separate one just for communication". This applies to me because the creative thinking session is effective when brainstorming ideas and that helps because you can just get an abundance of ideas and see which one fits the best. A couple of the changes that took place in my storyboard were the font color. At first i was going to do just blue but then i changed my mind and wanted to do blue and yellow for the content page and the cover and then do Blue and orange for the feature article that way you know where the second article comes into play. Overall, the magazine is very cool and i think it will turn out well.
